Do
you need help paying for child care? Some of these options may work for you: Wisconsin Shares: You may be eligible if your children are under 13 or under 19 with "special needs" and you meet financial qualifications. Find out if you qualify for Wisconsins Working Parent Benefits.
Langlade County: call 715-627-4750 Please visit the Wisconsin Shares website to see eligibility guidelines
Sliding Fee: Some providers may use this structure by charging higher-income parents more than low-income parents. The lower level fees are supplemented because you are accepting a lower income. Some providers use last years income tax form to document parents in an effort to be sure they are being fair to all. Family Discount: Some providers
offer reduced fees for two or more children in the same family.
Employer Discounts: In salary reduction plans, also called Dependant Care Assistance Plans (DCAP), employers and employees agree to set aside a certain amount of pre-tax income for the employee to use to pay for regulated child care expenses. The total amount is determined at the beginning of each year, however, caution is needed in determining that amount because unspent dollars are not refundable. The employer is not subject to state or federal taxes on this money. So, both parties benefit from this agreement. . |
