Training Opportunities Please note the following guidelines: (These guidelines are only for trainings sponsored by Child Care Connection)
Training participants are required to pre-register. Child Care Connection must receive payment at least 5 days prior to date of training. Training fee will be $5.00 per person, made payable to Child Care Connection. This standard fee is for trainings which will run approximately 2 hours, and may vary depending upon the cost of presenter and duration of training. A training will be held if at least 8 participants have pre-registered and paid by the day prior to the training. Child Care Connection will cancel trainings with less than 8 pre-registered and paid participants. Participants who have pre-registered will be notified by Child Care Connection staff, by telephone, to confirm cancellations. Training refunds will only be given to registered participants if training is cancelled Training fees may be transferred to a future training, if the pre-registered participant, wishing to cancel, contacts the Child Care Connection by NOON on the day of the training. Transferred amount must be used within 6 months of the training for which they cancelled. If training is cancelled due to inclement weather, Child Care Connection staff will make the decision no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the training, and notify pre-registered participants by telephone. Child Care Connection will arrange for Registry labels, where applicable, based on the number of participants pre-registered. New and rescheduled training information will be available via:
